For Advantix to be completely effective it has to be absorbed into the skin. Any contact before this can remove the solution from your dog’s skin, which means he will not receive the full protection against fleas, ticks and mosquitoes.

Applying Advantix is easy and can be done in less than 2 minutes by following these simple steps.

  1. Ensure your dog has been bathed as you cannot do so within 2 days of application.
  2. Have your dog sit and part the hair in the locations advised on the packaging.
  3. Gently squeeze the applicator, keeping the tip in contact with the skin to avoid spillage.
  4. Give the solution at least one hour to dry.
  5. Cats cannot metabolize the main ingredients in Advantix so keep them separate from your dog for at least 24 hours to prevent them from licking your dog’s hair.

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
