Is the vet at PetSmart good?

“I don’t know about the PetSmart near me, but my vet is great. I’ve taken all of my animals to him for as long as I’ve been able to drive. He’s very good with them, and he is extremely knowledgeable about their needs, even the kind of food that’s best for them. I’ve never had any problems with him, and he’s got a great bedside manner.”

“Well, if you are going to get your pet groomed, or have an emergency visit, it is best to make an appointment. My little dog got sick and I was in a panic of trying to find a vet for him. He has never been to a vet so I was pretty worried. He wouldn’t eat and just laid around. I called my regular vet and they told me that they couldn’t see him until the next day, which meant he would be suffering all night long. I called PetSmart and asked if they had a vet on call and they said yes. They also said that the doctor had worked at our regular vet clinic at one time. Well, let me tell you he saved my little dog’s life! He called me right away after looking at the little guy and gave me some medicine that stopped his vomiting and diarrhea. He told me to keep checking back with him each hour and I did. Two hours later he was feeling so much better and wanted to eat! I feel so relieved that someone was available right away to help us out. The doctor at PetSmart is great! I recommend them for any kind of pet emergency or regular visits too. The staff is very nice there too, from the people at the front desk”

“They are not very good with animals. They don’t know what they’re doing, and my pet is always sick after going there. The staff is rude and rough with your pet. In my experience, the staff is unprofessional, doesn’t know what to do in a pinch, and their prices are way too high for their service. The prices are absurd! We spent $200 on our dog’s vaccinations alone, and we didn’t even get the whole package! I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s unsanitary, the staff is incredibly unprofessional, and the prices are way too high for mediocre service.”

How much do PetSmart vaccinations cost?

PetSmart offers a variety of different vaccinations for dogs, cats, and other small animals. Prices vary depending on the vaccine, but most pet shots range from $20 to $50.

  • Bordetella $30
  • Distemper Parvo DAPP $35
  • H3N2 and H3N8 influenza $47
  • Leptospirosis $21
  • Lyme Disease $38
  • Rabies $25

The average cost of pet vaccinations can vary by several factors, including where you live and who you choose for your vet. It’s also important to know that your pet may require additional vaccinations in the future, especially if he goes outdoors frequently or stays with a sitter while you’re out of town. Vaccinations should be administered every 12 months or as directed by your veterinarian, so it’s in your best interest to find the most affordable option that still meets your pet’s needs.

How much does it cost to spay a dog at PetSmart?

“I have a 10-month-old lab mix and I was told that I should spay her so she won’t grow up to be aggressive. She is 50 pounds. Is it safe to spay my dog at PetSmart? What is the procedure? What are the costs?”

If your dog is over 6 months old and weighs over 50 pounds, then you will have to pay $505 for her to be spayed. If she weighs under 50 pounds then the cost is $440.
